"This is the third or fourth stay at the B3. The property is perfect for me as a business traveler with a colleague staying a portion of the time in a different room. The common area is comfortable and the private room was great. We played some pool, listened to music and made use of the kitchen and bar too as well as the TVs. The location one block off of Main Street provides easy access to the best parts of walkable Sparta. I will be back! "

"My children (12 and 8 yo) and I reserved a room for one night and then decided to stay another, cause we were enjoying our visit so much and didn't want to leave yet! We were there during kidding season, and it was highly enjoyable. Donna and Cindy are excellent hosts, and they made us feel welcomed. They chatted with us as much as we liked, and they were both so willing to teach us about the goats and other animals. The highlights for us were hanging out with all of the kids, who are so playful...

When is the best time to book a Bed and Breakfast in Onalaska?
The best time to book a B&B in Onalaska is during the peak travel season from July to September, when the area comes alive with outdoor activities and vibrant local events. This bustling period is ideal for travelers seeking adventure and natural beauty, as the warm summer temperatures, typically ranging from the mid-60s to low 80s Fahrenheit, create superb conditions for hiking, biking, and enjoying the stunning waterfront views.

September, in particular, is a standout month for visitors. As the summer crowds begin to thin, you can still relish the tail end of pleasant weather while experiencing the breathtaking fall colors in the surrounding landscapes. With fewer tourists, September offers a more relaxed atmosphere, allowing you to immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy scenic walks along the trails by the lake.

For those looking for a more economical option, consider visiting in November. While this month is quieter, it provides a unique opportunity to experience Onalaska's charm without the hustle and bustle of peak season.
