“The AKA is very centrally located for downtown WPB - if you are just a business traveler who will never be in the room this might be a good choice. I have stayed here for work twice, and although the location is very convenient. The AKA feels way more like a dorm than a "elevated" or "luxury" hotel - two words that are used frequently on the website. The rooms have vinyl floors that have seen better days, They look warmer and more wood toned on the website photos but in reality they are grey.……

“We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay in a lovely completely renovated queen room. Pleasantly surprised with the full kitchen set. Great location. Wonderful beach to swim and collect shells. The pool was clean, good size and refreshing. All amenities are in place so worry free mini vacation. WiFi, large TV, dishwasher, stove, full refrigerator, beach chairs and towels. Assigned parking included. No “resort” fees or other surprises. Exceptional in every way. Thank you Marsha!”

“Beautiful hotel!!! The wonderful woman at desk upon arrival Friday night 5/8 upgraded us to a suite - gorgeous. Only complaints were service on rooftop very slow and front desk help rest of time was less than desirable. The two women working Saturday couldn’t be bothered. I was charged twice for stay and had to call to take care of after we left.”

“All great. Moved across the street to Seagate for a couple of nights due to being a wedding coordinator for a wedding there and wished I would not have. Free parking. Full kitchen. Nice pool. No bar but plenty around and who wants to pay $9 for a coke at a supposed 5 star resort hotel. Major fail over there. Definitely choose the Atlantic.”
