“Shops in the hotel are fun. Also the coffee bar is great. Lots of shopping on the main street. ”

“Lotta overgrown weeds in the entrance of the property. Shower faucet was not working properly. AC in the room was not cooling.”

“The inside was very clean, manager was very helpful. The air conditioner and coffee maker was great. TV and sleeping quarters was good. I think the only thing I seen that needs to be addressed is all the barn swallow nests and their droppings need to be cleared away. Not a good thing to have bird excrement falling not only on our heads but also the hoods of our cars. Otherwise very nice place to lay down ones head for the night. 😊”

“There were LOTS of birds at the entrance carport. Had to pray you didn’t get pooped on when entering and exiting. The room had a smell-not a clean smell. Went to Walmart and bought a candle to burn and it helped.”

“It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable. ”

“Front desk staff are very nice . Hate to say the room and property not so much. I suppose they’re still under renovation but didn’t see anyone working on anything. I’m sure it’s all a time and money thing. If you need a decent bed and running water sure it’s fine . I assume I had a suite of some sorts and I can only speak for my room but it was a big empty area with a bed and coffee table. Stains on the cover sheet and tub . Curtains were excessively dirty a shoe box in the closet leads me to……

“This was a very enjoyable stay. The host couple were extremely helpful. The venue was very clean and cozy and it was an excellent place to spend a couple of days. We were there on Possum Kingdom Lake so we enjoyed a lot of fishing and a lot of the other activities that are located in the area. ”
