“Everything was better than described. This host has really out done themselves on equipping and organizing this property. I learned quite a few tricks for my own STR's. The kitchen was well equipped with everything down to saran wrap and baggies. Plenty of towels for inside and towels for lake. Host labeled many items and just made the visit so much easier. Lots of provided games also. We used the binoculars provided to watch the wildlife across the lake and could hear and see many turkeys……

“1 over night, very fun place to stay, centrally located and worth another stay. Wish they had more bottled water in the room because the tap water was a little rough. Possibly the lake was turning over making it smell like a dirty sock. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property that is well taken care of. Our kids loved the yard and river when it wasn’t raining. There were tons of beds. There is only a tv in the bunk room. The rest were in the closets. Assuming it was to optimize sleeping space to accommodate more people. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. I wish it was in every Vrbo we stay at! The kitchen was huge and beautiful, but it did lack some basic large bowls and utensils we assumed it would have. There are no……

“Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. Room and BR extremely clean and quiet. No need……

“The Wi-Fi is horrible. The bathroom was clean but in need of repair. The place is being remodeled so hopefully that will be fixed. It recently changed owners. The employees are friendly”
