We will be back!

What a wonderful place! Had everything we needed for our group of eight. Plenty of furniture, dishes, etc. Great view of the Gulf from the screened porch. We are already thinking about our trip back next year.Also, for every question I had the host responded quickly.

a great getaway

Excellent property. Waking up to the sunrise over the water was a treat! The host provided a ton of items that made our shopping/pack list a lot lighter; that was a huge bonus. The area is very quiet and low traffic- Bald Point state park is a hidden gem and right down the street

Perfect getaway!

It was beautiful and quiet. Every morning was a sunrise with the family. Every day a beach day. Every night the comfort of family in a home like atmosphere. Would do it again!

Absolutely beautiful and relaxing stay

Highly recommend for a family stay. We had a wonderful time. The screened in porch is perfect for evenings and nature watching. Only a few steps to the beach and we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and reconnect with family, this is it. We fished and drove into St George. The host communicated throughout and checked in to make sure we had everything we’d need. We will book again.

Panacea Vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very secluded and the beach is wonderful. Stayed there with 3 families with plenty of room. You have wonderful views with the screened in porch and the beach is only steps away from the house. Low tide is really interesting as you can walk out so far with the water receding. We enjoyed the beach items closet that was available along with items we brought. Hope to return again sometime soon.

Beautiful Spot

Beautiful property and location--steps away from the beach and lots of great outdoor adventures nearby. The property had plenty of space for our 7 people plus a baby. The space was clean and welcoming and the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The area where the property is located is a little quieter than surrounding areas--exactly what we wanted. Would absolutely come back!

Wonderful as Always!

We have been coming to this rental for the last four years. We always have a wonderful time! This year, the fishing was great as was the weather. The upgrades to the property were great to include the new mattresses on the beds. We did love the old owners but found the new owner very responsive and accommodating when we contacted him. Thanks for sharing your rental with us! The Copelands!

Truly a paradise with private beach

We stayed a week at this beachside property that more than amply housed 10 adults, each having a private room. The property was very well equipped, kitchen very well stocked with utensils and cookware. The games were really appreciated and contributed to loads of fun. The barbecue, the smoker and kitchen allowed us to cook delicious meals without having to go to restaurants, with many warm family meals together at the big dining table. Each room had a tv with excellent access to your Netflix account with a cool feature that automatically disconnects your account upon end of stay. Aside from this, there was also a package included to renters that allowed free movies and access to numerous channels, too many to list. I kayaked every day. I was also able to rent 3 tandem kayaks from the lovely Summers at 21 Palms Kayak Rentals. They dropped off the kayaks and picked them up! 2 members of my party had to keep working and the WIFI connection was excellent and they had no problems. There is sheltered parking for 3-4 vehicles. We always dreamed of vacationing on the beach and this property met our expectations fully. We had a memorable vacation. The property has all kinds of thoughful features that I can't remember all, but for example, 3 showers downstairs, one for the dogs, regular shower and foot shower, no trekking sand to worry about. The beach has to be experienced to understand the blissful calm and serenity. Thank you Nick for being available at all times.

It was a quiet and relaxing stay. Everyone really enjoyed the week. The first evening we were there we were able to watch a dolphin swim close to the shore. Even charging the shore at times to push the fish that way. It was really neat to watch. The sunrises and moonrises were also great. We didn't see more than a few people on the beach. The last day we were there it looked like some other families arrived in the houses nearby, but I imagine it would still be pretty quiet even with them there. We will plan to come back and stay here again.

The house is amazing. The views are terrific. The screened in porch was the favorite hangout for everyone. It is in a secluded area so it is a drive to get to anything so be prepared for that, but the house had everything we needed.The only problem we had was not being able to run the A/C as low as we would have liked. No lower than 70 but we are very hot nature so it would probably be fine for most people.

Nunn Mothers Day Celebration

Private Beach Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed for the week. We had six adults and six kids in the house and had plenty of space. We practically had the beach to ourselves. The Gulf Speciman Marine Lab is a must see in the area. We did a private tour and would highly recommend it.

Enjoyed a quiet week at the beach!

The house was perfect, with plenty of towels, and a well equipped kitchen, and a very nice screened in porch to eat all meals, and a view of the water on a quiet street. There is not a thing I would change about this house!

The R&R we needed!

We stayed two nights and it was truly relaxing! Being right on the beach was beautiful and esp helpful with little kids. We saw stars at night(!) and the sunrise by day....unforgettable! The porch was a breezy haven for conversation and games. I'm already ready to go back! : )

All you need and more

We really enjoyed our short stay (3 nights). The house offers everything you need. It is a very quiet area and you only have a few neighbors around you. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't really explore the area.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family of four stayed with both sets of grandparents for Thanksgiving and had a great time. We had plenty of room and our 12-year-old son had a blast catching (and releasing) crabs at night. The description is very accurate, it is very secluded and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. But be sure to plan ahead and bring everything you need because your closest shopping option is the Dollar General in Panacea which is about a 20-minute drive. We made two trips while there and they had a great selection - I just wish I had planned a little better. The house was very clean, couches and beds were comfy and Nick was very responsive whenever I had questions. We found tons of really cool shells on the beach and enjoyed the view from the screened porch. I highly recommend this place and would stay again.
