"Overall, my stay was excellent. There was only one thing I would say, and that is when we were checking out the two young men behind the counter seemed very uninterested in hearing what I had to say about the room. I wanted to let them know that I was sick and the cleaning staff should take extra care and clean all knobs and handles well for their next guest and the entry light just inside the door was not working. I am handicapped and this was a handicapped room, so I would assume the next person staying will be handicapped as well and I don’t want them to get sick or be without lights when entering the room if they need it."

"I wanted an inexpensive room for our 3-day trip across the country and what we got was a cheap, rundown motel that made me want to take a shower after we checked out. First, the front desk apologized to everyone for the elevator that wasn't working. I was told the elevator hadn't been working for MONTHS and the owner is "too cheap to fix it." That should have been our first warning about the condition of the place. Second, we were delighted that the room was a studio with a kitchenette. However, on closer examination, I noticed stains all over the furniture, carpet and bedding. I shudder to think what they could be...but I think you know what it was. Third, the housekeeping standards are pretty low. The shower/tub look like it hadn't been cleaned in sometime. The drain plug was removed -- probably because the water wouldn't drain. Upon further investigation I could see why -- it was clogged with hair. Needless to say, I had to turn the water on and off to lather up and rinse off so the tub could drain. It also would have been nice if the mirrors had been cleaned, but I guess I'd take a clean shower and tub over clean mirrors. Finally, I won't even address the kitchenette, Suffice it to say that if it were a restaurant kitchen the Health Department would have closed it down for a thorough cleaning. If you want an inexpensive place to stay, this place is cheap. Just remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. It's a shame the owner doesn't care about the condition of this property."
