A Great place to stay!

This place was perfect for our needs! Its very clean, modern, up to date. The hosts are very responsive and kind in answering any questions! Would love to stay here again if I'm in the area. Its by the main road but also very quiet and quaint. There was a propane grill in the back and a fire pit. Super nice!

Great Stay

Great place and location. Fuel and food right down the road. We stayed to snowmobile, having trail right across the street was perfect. Very clean as everything is newly done with a cool modern feel. Nice amenities including a large ice maker which I thought was a useful addition. Communication with host was great, easy check in and out. Would recommend to others and will stay again myself! Perfect spot for all seasons!

Some add'l comments

Very nice place and especially for conversion from what it was (commercial use?). But another mirror or two (even a self-standing mirror or one to lean against a wall) is nice for when someone is occupying the bathroom. Also, the fridge (& ice maker) wasn't on when we arrived as the wall GFI outlet had to be reset, so it must have been tripped it previously. A picture of the couch pulled out for use as a bed would be another benefit for prospective renters.

The kitchen set up was was very good. The biggest issue was that the check-in process was a mess. It turns out, that was because none of owners messages got through to me from VRBO to Expedia..

We truly enjoyed our time at the Black Pearl. The space is comfortable & stylish. The extra touches were lovely (even the scents of the hand soaps & reed diffuser were to our taste!) & we felt right at home. It’s well equipped overall. Highly recommend!

Great base for hiking and seeing Falls

Black Pearl has to be the best spot to stay in Paradise! It’s unassuming from the outside, but cozy and filled with everything you need on the inside! Fully equipped up-to-date kitchen, open to living area with comfy couch, tv, warm electric fireplace/heater and kitchen table. Separate bedroom also has an electric fireplace/heater with comfy bed. We didn’t use the backyard and fire pit, but it’s a nice addition, with wood provided. If you come to see the Falls or Whitefish Point, then this is where you need to stay! Dinner at The Inn, around the corner is a must - everything fresh from the whitefish to the amazing desserts!

We headed up to Paradise because it was close to Tahquamenon falls, an hour from Munising for kayaking Pictured Rocks, then meeting up with 1124 other mini coopers for Mini's on the Mack. Lots of fun!
