“As I was checking out, I was even given a suggestion as to which lake to go to catch some nice fish. My friend and I followed the fishing tip, and we had great luck!!!”

“I did get my 2 large towels as requested. What was stated on the email was not true what I was charged ”

“Nice breakfast offered with friendly and welcoming staff. We were able to choose between 1st and 2nd floor options.”

“We check in at 8:00pm and got room #217. When we got at the room the door was opened and few towels on the floor. We came downstairs and requested a different room. The receptionist said there was no other room available and she went to clean the room herself. Within 15 minutes she came back offering room # 234 because a guest was late and we could stay there instead. We accepted the offer and we came in the room, the fridge was filthy with old food in there. I took a picture and complained……

“Nice inexpensive place to stay with an attached bar. In walking distance of a gas station, bakery and a restaurant. Beds are on the small side and rooms are a bit outdated. Overall we had a good experience and was pretty much what we expected for the price.”

“I have stayed at this facility before and I am always please with how accommodating they are, how friendly the staff is and the rooms are clean, comfortable and they seem to always go a little over and above to make my stay better whether it is upgrading my room if they can, allowing me to check in a little bit early so I don't have to sit and wait in my car, and allowing for late checkouts at last minute or in one case having to book an extra night due to a snow storm. I have been very happy……

“It’s a good family friendly resort. One thing I’d recommend is just going out to Perkins or some other restaurant for breakfast to spend $15.99, as the breakfast buffet is literally what other hotels serve free as continental breakfast. (Didn’t even have chocolate milk mind you). Water park was closed but hopping on a rental jetski was better than a water park in my opinion lol overall it’s a good spot for anyone and any family looking to relax and have that lake experience.”

“That place was awful, nothing was updated, and the pictures on Expedia made it look like a nice, well-kept hotel, but it was a dump. Seriously, don't stay there. And the breakfast? Terrible, old, just plain bad.”

“This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. ”
