“We had a very enjoyable stay at the Scone Arms. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the improvements already completed look fantastic. Our room had been fully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bar area has been completely updated and has a fresh, welcoming atmosphere. “The hotel is in a beautiful setting with great views over the surrounding countryside and a well maintained golf course. Our room was fairly basic and a little shabby which we expected to be more polished for the price paid. The restaurants were good, particularly the breakfast, included in our rate, which had a good selection and was great value for money. The food at the Cairns restaurant for dinner was nice but the service was a bit disjointed. There was a lot of staff but still took a while……

“Location is convenient for the most part. Parking is a bit deceptive as you need to part almost a block away. Tried to "What App" the host as suggested but got no reply. Small apartment with no fans (very hot) to use and had no air conditioning.”

“Room 231 both beds were poor as were the pillows. For the money we paid the room was no more than a cupboard. Staff at reception gave out no information about the facilities or even where to get breakfast. Certainly would not recommend and personally would noy use again.”
