“We absolutely loved our stay at Chris’s cabin! It was very large and perfectly located in this little end of a cul-de-sac. Even though there is a hill behind the cabin, I felt very safe having my kids play out front on their own. The view is spectacular, it’s very private and so comfortable. Chris was amazing at communicating all the details about our stay and I had a nice conversation with him before we left to make sure we were all set to go. There is even a little patch of snow out in front……

“Plenty of space for the family, lots to do in the cabin for when the weather keeps you inside. Spacious kitchen for family meals. Game room in the basement was put to good use. It was exactly what we were looking for for our holiday getaway. The only downside was that it was priced significantly more per night than similar homes in PMC. We had a last minute cancellation from our other cabin and got this one on short notice so we had to make an exception for the price or cancel our trip all……

“Pros: Cabin was really nice (new). The Host Lori was great and very responsive. Cons: Its a HOA community so there are restrictions such as no open fires allowed (even if its propane fire pit). You are only allowed to use the propane gas grill. Coffee machine had old water in the reservoir, kitchen sink was dirty, and the refrigerator was not clean. Cabin has no washer and dryer. Overall we had a good time. Its a nice place to visit if you just want hangout indoors.”

“We loved our short time at Elias Cabin. The house is bright and lovely with thoughtful decorations. We got to see snow-capped mountains in the distance. The rooms were fun. The bed in the main room was really comfortable. The other rooms were fun, especially the upstairs loft area, which was perfect for a small slumber party. Yolando made the booking and check-in process easy. We had everything we needed at the house to enjoy ourselves, including hot cocoa!! We will definitely stay here again.”

“Four friends met at the Mayor’s House to vacay together. It was very relaxing and beautiful. Cleaning crew was still there upon our arrival after 4 pm but left shortly thereafter. They advised the vacuum cleaner broke, so we swept the house each day. Having a washer and dryer was great. We planned ahead and brought our own laundry soap and dryer sheets as none was provided. “There are many pros to this place. The space is gorgeous. There is a welcoming fireplace and very high ceiling in the living room. I had some questions and the owners texted me right away. They had excellent communication. It was nice to have three bedrooms. Be advised, one of the bedrooms is up in the loft. However, it has a bathroom and felt private. There is a big dining room table. Here are the cons and things to be advised about. The beds, unfortunately, were very firm. My 13-year-old like……

“Two couples and lifelong friends stayed at this beautiful property in September 2023. Everything about the listing was accurately presented. The pictures do not do it justice. The ‘cabin’ is very roomy, full of light and exceptionally decorated. The gourmet kitchen is to die for. This property was especially suited to one of our party with mobility issues. The ‘asterisk’ comes because of a few maintenance issues that individually would never spoil a stay, but combined, makes for a few frown……
