Jennifer's was my getaway from noise, cement and traffic in LA. Great for a single or a couple. Summerland, California is a nice little sea side town just minitues from Santa Barbara. There are a wide variety of activities in the area, sun and sand, surfing lessons, vineyard tours, horseback riding--something for everyone. Just go and enjoy yourself!"

"This place was a complete misrepresentation of their location. There was no pool on site. There were no amenities on site. The mentalities were for a hotel across the street, which is a completely different establishment potentially owned by the same owners, but it’s not in your hotel and items are across the street and you’ll be sharing them with another hotel. Yeah, it’s just a couple minutes from the beach, but it’s not worth the money or the stay"

"Great place for the price, easy to come and go and rooms are simple and work great. Not fancy, and hard to contact staff on the phone from outside the hotel, but all went well and we will stay there again."

"This is an modest, older, but very attractive and well-kept property. It is an excellent value. Beds were comfortable. Our room was small but thoughtfully arranged so that it didn't feel cramped. The Spanish style of the building is pretty and is a good fit for the area. The hotel is walking distance (less than half a mile) to a few good restaurants and a shopping center. It's a short drive to the beach, some walking trails, a skateboard park and a driving range."

"Best Western Plus Carpinteria has lovely Spanish casa architecture. Sarah at the front desk and Mario at the restaurant (very nice meal!) provided excellent customer service. The hotel is located in a quiet Carpinteria location, with easy access to the highway and to Santa Barbara. Downsides are that the walls and ceiling are very thin, and we could hear every footstep upstairs, and every conversation in the hallway."

"The house was clean, spacious and had all the things/amenities we needed. The information for check-in arrived late but it was easy and smooth to get into the house. Instructions were clear. Lots of games, DVDs, and activities for families included. It was very close to the Rincon Beach Resort for the wedding we attended. The only thing is the air conditioning was not consistent throughoutnthe house. Some rooms were hot and others were cool."

"The condo was clean and in close proximity to the beach and eateries. The condo was quite and felt very safe. It was nice to have a designated parking space, which made it so easy. The host was quick to answer questions. The only issue, it was very hot in the condo due to the weather. Unfortunately, because it is coastal, the condo does not have a/c, only fans. During the time we stayed it was particular hotter than normal, the fans did not seem to help with cooling the place down. However, I imagine that is not the norm. Usually, the coastal areas cool down during the evenings. I do encourage others to stay and enjoy their time at this condo."

"This listing was as advertised and more. My Wife and I found the Condo cute, quiet and very quaint . It's well stocked with supplies for the beach as well as the kitchen needs. There is a short walk to the beach ( one block ) easy access to stores and restaurants. The neighbors are friendly and pleasant. The neighborhood is quiet once the Sun goes down."
