"The property consists of two rental units but this fact is not obvious from the pictures on the website. We did not get the rooftop deck with a view of the harbor. That belongs to the other unit. The sewer pipes are enclosed in the paper-thin walls of the first floor bedroom of our unit so every time someone flushes the toilet, uses the sink, takes a shower, you can hear water flowing through the pipes followed by loud clanging sound. Along with the loud music, people talking, chairs scraping...

"We went for 1 night, a group of seven women. The beds are mostly doubles so one of us had to sleep on the pull-out couch, but it was comfortable. Middletown is quiet and gorgeous and we especially enjoyed the proximity to Newport. We had some small issues but they were resolved. Overall a very nice experience."

The house is in a great location and although it is close to the main roads, it feels secluded and quaint! The entire weekend was excellent! The only small issue is we wish we knew in advance that you can only park 4 cars on the property. With 12 girls staying at the house coming from many different states & cities, we had 9 cars total but nowhere to park 5 of them.It would have been helpful to know...
