“We had a great time at Chris’ house. The house was in a great location, walking distance to restaurants/bars and the beach and a quick Uber from downtown Newport. The house was just as described in the listing, and the backyard setup and roof deck were even better in person! Chris was easy to get in touch with and very friendly. We will definitely be back!”

“Allagash Splash was a perfect property for a southern family staying in RI for a wedding in Newport. Also have family in Bonnet. Best part of the house is the yard - fire pit and cornhole were utilized a lot! Location was perfect. Highly recommend!”

“Our stay was great overall! We had 8 women staying for a girls’ weekend. The home manager was prompt to respond and the house was very clean. It was large with plenty of sleeping space. The theater was a very fun addition! It was a beautiful house that we loved spending time in. Close to downtown Newport but far enough away from the hustle & bustle to enjoy the quiet. “The house was really clean, all the bathrooms were a definite plus. I had a few questions before our stay and the communication was smooth always super responsive.”

“The home is lovely and in a great location. We come to Newport every year with our dogs and genuinely enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we alter the property manager the dryer was broken. They promised to fix asap but the dryer was never fixed during our stay. This is one of the key perks for a rental home vs a hotel for us. This deducting 1 star.”

“This house is amazing. It fit us all comfortably and is beautifully decorated. Everything is all new and it has great outdoor space. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom had lots of towels. We didn’t get to go to the beach, but the garage was stocked with everything you would need. The host was very easy to contact and was very accommodating. My only advice would be to make sure you bring soap for the bathrooms. I was surprised to find out that there was none, ☺️”

“Six 60-ish year old women on a girls weekend enjoyed Cinco de Maio/Kentucky Derby/Policemen's Parade weekend at this fantastic accommodation. Fully stocked kitchen, 3 full baths and great location walking distance to everything! Only bummer was that TV did not work, but hosts did try to help us remotely.”

“Michelle is an Angel!!!! We had booked another property that fell apart in spectacular fashion. Michelle’s beach house was the only one that fit our needs with same day check in. She took us in and took care of us! She cleaned the house herself in record time so we could still have our first night, and the periodically checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed (which we did!). “Our final weekend of summer was spent at this little gem of a cottage. The house was lovely, cozy and clean upon arrival. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The beach was a 5 minute drive away. The hostess was so attentive to every text I sent. She also left us multiple treats for the adults and my son. A fantastic way to finish up the summer. We would go back in a heartbeat!”
