“Stayed here one night while passing through. Room was smaller than I expected (patio king). I also assumed the patio was attached to the room but it was not. Room floor was dirty (sand, etc.) otherwise room was clean. Our coffee pot didn’t work. There was a $50 dog fee upon check in that wasn’t listed at time of booking online so that was a surprise. Staff were super friendly and happy to see our dogs. We did receive a doggy gift bag at check in. Hotel was in a great location. Restaurant……

“We wish the breakfast eggs and sides were a little bit higher quality. Having the breakfast is a nice amenity but the items were not as good as expected.”

“Staff very unfriendly. Helpful but unfriendly. More importantly: zero soundproofing between rooms. Could hear both the music and conversation word for word of the room next door until midnight when I finally got hotel staff.”

“Dirty shower curtain hair on beds on sheets Air from heat was musty smelling. The mattress gave me horrible back ache i was so disgusted that we were ready to go and sleep in the car. I felt terrible for the kids we drove for 5 hours to look in to the beautiful college campus Salve Regina it was ruined by this place it totally grossed me out. It was a nightmare. I wanted to cancel the room i had kids with me the clerk didn't let me.”

“I felt like this place was a bargain, especially with breakfast included! We stayed in April just before their weddings started, and it was very quiet. We had a nice view of the water from our room, and the grounds are stunning! It was clean and perfect for an overnight. People with lots of luggage or mobility issues should note that there is no elevator. You also cannot control your room's temperature, and it was a bit warmer than I like for sleeping. “We loved this place! Felicia was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We felt very welcome when we walked in. The history of the inn was so incredible. The bar area was wonderful and so was the bartender. We stayed in one of the King suites. It was so clean and peaceful. We will definitely be back.”

“Very friendly staff, and comfortable bed. TV didn't connect with remote so we had to get up to turn up the volume and turn on the tv, which was a little annoying. Wifi doesn’t work very well, pretty low speed. Breakfast was delicious at hydrangea house (offered on the first day) and just ok in the manor. Overall staff is friendly and I would stay here again for a no frills stay. ”

“Loved my little apartment style accommodation which was also doggie friendly!!! Location was fantastic, Staff were kind and very helpful! Parking was very convenient across the street and one could walk anywhere for dinner, waterfront...little bistros on a side street..... Cliff walk and the Mansions were a few blocks away....St. Mary's and Bellevue Avenue also within walking distance..... Window shopping on Thames... it's all right there!!!! Rooms very clean and maid service was great!!!”
