"Best value I have ever experienced."

"I had a 2-night stay and would recommend! The house was large, spacious, comfortable and quiet. I didn't do extensive cooking, but the kitchen looked pretty well stocked with a lot of basics. Comfortable couch and nice big tv with streaming apps. The sauna was awesome, and the jetted spa tub was deep enough that I used it for a reasonably successful cold plunge alternating with time in the sauna. I also took an actual warm bath with the jets, and that was lovely, though the hot water did start to run out before it was as full as I wanted, so it wasn't quite as hot as I would have liked. I had breakfast on the deck one morning, and there was a ton of birdsong, just beautiful. There is a large park about a 5-minute drive away with tons of trails in the woods, and a beach access trail. I didn't make it to the beach due to an injury, but I walked in the woods, and that was so relaxing. Point Roberts is tiny with a small grocery store that had a surprisingly good variety for the size, but you may want to bring any "must have" food items with you, just in case. Two border crossings each way was not super fun, but I had a great weekend, and I feel like the hassle was worth it for the comfort and relaxation while I was there."

"They have a $200 deposit on top of room rent that they don't tell you about until you check in. They also don't allow service dogs even with documentation and obvious disability."

"Had such a great stay here. The place was peaceful and had a really positive vibe overall. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a meal or two. The horses, the ducks, and Trevor the dog were definitely a great addition to the experience. Martin was very communicative and accommodating throughout our stay. Would love to stay again soon!"

"Well I would have gave it 5 stars but on checking in after 11pm the bathroom sink was clogged, and I still dished out over $300 bones. I feel for a resort the rooms should be checked out for functionality on every time someone leaves. "

"This was our first time visiting Birch Bay. Had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the staff was very nice. The unit was huge and had a fully stocked kitchen. Our kids loved the outdoor pool, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The location is great—right by the water, close to some eating places, and a short drive to Birch Bay State Park. This place met all our expectations and even more. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"We stayed here for a family get away with ages from 4 months up to 65 yrs old (16 of us). We loved the downstairs bedroom for the older people and the older kids loved the room above the garage. Plenty of parking for our 4 vehicles and the hot tub was a hit. The littles had a lot of fun in the matilda room ( such a cute idea). The kitchen was well stocked. Our only concern was with the 2 heater grates in the living room because they slid off easily exposing the hole in the floor. We had to really watch the very young children when they were near the vents. "
