"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. "Great hotel but the wifi was not always working well in our room and the bathroom is kinda small."

"It was a very basic set up but positive experience still. Room was fairly spacious (3 beds), bathroom and shower were really good, a/c worked well. But the setup was actually in the train station building - at least our room was. But it was a very quiet room - no train noise. The breakfast was a voucher for a cafe nearby that was small and often busy - for a cappuccino and pastry. Since 2 of the 3 of us were gluten-free, that meant no breakfast. But otherwise it worked well for us as we traveled in the trains every day to the cinque terre!"

"Genau das Richtige für gestresste Städter wie uns. Die Ruhe, die Abgeschiedenheit, die gute Luft, Handyempfang nur bei günstigem Wind und alles Grün. Und nochmal: DIE RUHE !!!Ponzanello ist fast verwaist Ende Mai aber mit genug Holz für den mittelalterlichen OFFENEN (wo gibt es sowas denn noch?) Kamin in der Küche lassen sich auch 8 Nächte locker aushalten. Wir empfehlen jedem sich die Bilder von Alberico anzusehen, denn genau das erwartet euch auch. Einfaches und ehrliches Leben in der Stille der Berge in einem 600 Jahre altem Haus. Ganz sicher nichts für Gäste die sonst in Luxus Fewos für den 4-fachen Preis absteigen und dann mit einem Käfer auf dem Küchenboden oder dem nicht vorhandenen Sofa im nicht vorhandenen Wohnzimmer nicht klarkommen.Für uns war es wie gesagt genau das Richtige.Danke für die wunderschönen 2 Wochen lieber Alberico."

"The property was amazing and a beautiful location with tons to do around. I had entered the city a little bit earlier than expected and within five minutes a staff member was there to assist in letting us in, even though they were not operating during these hours. The property was extremely clean and I slept like a baby would definitely recommend."
