"Darling little cabin. Was clean, comfortable. Had everything we needed. ‘Twin view’ really was 2 views, mountains or strait. Which was especially nice since it was foggy and cloudy and one or the other was often obscured. Never did find the thermostat, but didn’t try very hard since we didn’t happen to need it. I found the soft mattress very uncomfortable, but it didn’t bother my back sleeping husband at all. With a new, maybe memory foam, mattress I’d love to come for a longer stay "

The only thing I would make other travelers aware of (and this is not the fault of the host listing) is there is not a coffee pot of any sort. I did not pay enough attention to the listing just assuming it would be a staple appliance like most places I have been to. If you drink coffee bring instant because there is a microwave. "We loved staying at Woodland Bluff! The house is beautiful and the view is incredible. All of the details in the lodge make it feel like a home away from home, from the stocked spice rack to the charging cords on the night stands. All of the little touches add up to a perfect vacation spot. And the deer you see everyday make the place that much more magical."

"This property was very clean, affordable and in a good location in town to access Olympic National Park. The downside of this property is its location right between the one way portions of Hwy 101. The highway does quiet down at night a lot but traffic picks back up around 6 am. Also, the sound proofing between floors is minimal. I know kids will be kids but the children upstairs were jumping off the beds, running & stomping across the floor til late at night & it sounded like the ceiling was going to collapse at any minute. I did complain to the front desk at one point, but I don't think they did anything despite saying they would address the problem. For the one night we were there, it was a comfortable bed"

"The setting was stunning! It felt like such a safe and soothing home away from home. What I was looking for was close access to the Olympic Discovery Trail and a safe place to keep my bike. The trail is literally just down the hill so I had two days of very nice rides. The property has beautiful sunsets, fruit trees and places to relax and explore. Paul and Lin were so warm and welcoming and willing to share their vast knowledge of the area. Will definitely be back staying here whenever I am in the area."
