Can I go back?

Excellent excellent location! You have a private boardwalk to an extremely quiet beach. Perfect for social distancing. The house was comfy and clean. The rental company made everything so easy. From renting beach gear to propane for the grill to quick and instant communication. I am so impressed with them. This is exactly what I needed after a long year with no travel. I would go back. This was a great house in a great location managed by a great group of people.

Beautiful home and views

The home is beautiful and clean. We had 15 women in our group. Very small living room for the size of the home not enough seating. LOTS of stairs do not recommend for older people. The hot water heater did not work finally on the 2nd trip out and our last night it was fixed and we got a hot shower (the repair man was nice). The smoke alarms beeped and we had to call maintenance at 10:45pm to fix them. We had a beach bon fire by Light Up your Night...it was amazing Addason did a wonderful job! Highly recommend it! Cape San Blas is beautiful!

The perfect group home

By book club decided for an early spring getaway. This house was perfect for a group of individuals all doing their own thing -- the house was immaculate and the managing company had wonderful touches throughout the house not normally seen by this CSB regular.

Nice place and great location

This was our second visit to this house. Had everything we needed for our large group. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. The worse part are the stairs. They are the only reason we won’t be renting this house again. They were a little too much for some of us.

Fantastic stay

We had issues with the water heater and a leak in the shower and it was remedied immediately. House is exactly as described, pictures don’t do it any justice. Boardwalk is brand new, very nice and easy walk to beach. Miles of beach to walk on and bike trails to explore. Kitchen well equipped especially for a large group. Very comfortable beds in ALL rooms!

Nice,but

Nice beach area, nice home with the exception of the amount of seating for that size home and quality of den furniture. We had no pantry space for food, it was full with homeowners pantry items. Out of 6 bedrooms you could only watch 2 different channels on the tv’s.

Family Time at the Beach

House is finely appointed though sparse, which we preferred (less art, Knick-knacks etc), and clean for the most part; breakfast table had to be wiped down due to food (jelly)left from prior tenant. Easy to find and excellent directions from rental company; gifted accessories and toiletries were a welcome surprise. Appliances all worked very well except for dryer; every load took multiple cycles and I think the vent is clogged. Walk to beach was a breeze and jacuzzis was a great way to end the day after the beach. Boardwalk needs a little TLC due to bad wood and popped screws but as long as one walked carefully, not really an issue. Two things that owner should consider addressing; 1) a screened in porch should be added and new deck furniture (one couch was broken). The yellow flies were a nuisance and made enjoying the deck in the morning or evening impossible. 2) the mattresses and pillows are terrible. I think the king on the top floor was ok but the bunks and main floor double are shot and incredibly uncomfortable. Location is nice but I think the western side of San Blas gets better waves; pretty anemic when we were there even though it was a full moon.

Perfect Family + Pet-Friendly House

The house was great for our large group. Main floor bedroom for older folks who don't do as well with stairs. Big kitchen and lots of seating for dinner. It was nice to have the separate ice maker too. We had one issue with the sink not draining and maintenance arrived quickly. We also liked the fenced-in area underneath the house which allowed our dogs to potty off lease and be bathed in the outdoor shower.

April Trip

We had a great week! Property was clean, lots of open space indoor & out to hang out, ice maker in the kitchen was a huge plus for us for filling up coolers, hot tub was used daily, the gas grill was nice to have. We had 1 issue with the washer and the management company promptly resolved by replacing the washer all together. Location was good as it was in between the state park & town of Port St Joe so neither seemed too far to get to. Only complaint for location is that I do think the water is much clearer the closer you get to the state park but we also had a lot of wind and rough conditions so that may have been part of the reason the water was more brown. The house is on a quiet dead end street which worked out well for our kids who were able to play and ride bikes out front. You can drive on the beach (with permit) so that could be hard with little ones running and playing on the beach but we got used to it and most drivers went slow and were very aware of the people enjoying the beach. You can also have fires on the beach which is always a fun evening activity. We had a great time at the bay and using the bike path that runs the length of the cape! Overall it was an awesome property and fun trip for our group of 10!

Great Location for Beach Getaway

The house was clean and well-maintained. We had a minor issue with the water heater. The issue was repaired within about 45 minutes of contacting the property manager!! I wish I could get such great repair service at my own home. I hope to stay there again!

Phenomenal

This property was absolute perfection! It was beautiful and right on the beach! The views from the balconies were absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t imagine a better place for families to stay. It was so quiet and not busy. The kids could play on the beach without worries and we all got to relax!

Beautiful home, great location

Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the house. The home is lovely, kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and pots and pans, etc., and the views are hard to beat. My overall score of the house is just average because we did have a number of issues that were just general maintenance and upkeep that you would expect to be taken care of routinely. The property management company was extremely responsive and quick to resolve the issues but in my opinion we should not have had to call the property management company about these issues in the first place. I called a week before our scheduled arrival to ask about the grill. I was assured there was a gas grill that would have a full tank. This was important because we planned to grill out on the night of our arrival. When we arrived on Thursday night there was no gas. It had apparently been left on and no one checked it before we arrived. In addition to no gas, the last tenants(?) let their dog poop everywhere and did not clean it up. It was on the main balcony, by the hot tub, multiple places on the carport. Since you cannot check in until 5:00 p.m. I got the afterhours operator for the management company but someone local called me back within a few minutes. They sent someone out the next morning to clean up the dog poop and they gave us multiple options on how to resolve the gas tank issue. On Friday, after being in the boat all day, we came home and wanted to get into the hot tub. Took the cover off and it was green and stank. Had to call the management company again. They sent someone out Saturday morning to clean it and we were able to use it Saturday night. Inside the house it appeared clean but if you walked around barefoot you would get grocery store feet, the air handler was filthy, and when we moved the blender Sunday morning there was a large, dead grasshopper underneath it.

AMAZING!!!

This property was stunning!! The pictures online do not do it justice. The house is gorgeous! it is well stocked with everything you need to cook-- pans, pots, etc. The beds were all super comfy and the views from the decks were breathtaking. The beach is literally your backyard! We would for sure stay at this property again.
