“This 1800’s hotel is so beautiful. Our room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom is updated. Enjoyed having coffee on the deck. The staff was so welcoming but never intrusive or awkward. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast but they have coffee and there is a diner and cafe within short walking distance. They have restaurant that serves dinner, we did not have a chance to dine there. There is a lake with a beach within 10 minutes drive. I would love to return in the fall or……

“This was deemed a non smoking room. It smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. I came to Saratoga because my son had emergency surgery. I was exhausted by the time I got to my room, so I did not request a replacement room. I have stage 4 cancer, so this was very important it was a non smoking room. I was completely uncomfortable and left at 5:30 am. I explained to the agent at the desk and she just said ok. I was very uncomfortable and disappointed.”

“Daniel was warm, gracious and makes a mean egg white omelette. Would have appreciated better WiFi signal in the bedroom and temperature control for the shower is a little sketchy. But you cannot beat the location if you’re a racing fan. The room with a (small) balcony is well worth the supplement.”

“Don't stay here, period. Well, unless you normally sleep on the street, in which case this is *maybe* an upgrade. Horribly dirty - dirty floors, dirty sheets, dirty broken shower... The supposedly non-smoking rooms reeked of smoke. There were bugs everywhere, and a gross dirty fly trap hanging in one of the rooms. It's unconscionable that this place stays in business, and that Expedia supports them. There's no discounted rate that would make this place worth staying at. Just find somewhere……

“Very peaceful. I enjoyed waking in the morning to the sound of gentle breezes blowing through the fields of tall grass and the aroma of breakfast wafting up the stairs to our bohemian decor room. Host was so gracious and offered a perfect blend of pleasant engaging conversation yet respects her guests’ desire for undisturbed quiet time as well. Grounds are beautiful and offer backyard activities and meditative space.”
