“We had a party of three - myself, my fellow and his cousin. Two separate rooms, both were terrific. The whole place is kitschy, with both original portions and some added amenities done in the style of the Route 66 hey-day era. We were all quite pleased with our rooms, the cleanliness, the setting being up against a lovely little Pond and directly on Route 66 so not the slightest bit out of the way for us who were traveling it, but it was really the staff who made things terrific. “Pleasant check in. However, things went downhill from there. Because we used Expedia (saved $20 per night), the owner said “You did not pay enough to receive $15 an hour room service”. So we had to buy our own trash bags, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, take out our own trash daily and were initially charged for additional clean towels. This while being charged additional pet fees. Each day we had new pests (ticks, roaches, and another bug I have yet to identify) to greet us. Breakfast had……

“The staff at the hotel were very helpful. We got in late in the evening and they helped us park our truck and trailer. The room was the cleanest room we’d ever seen. And it was so comfortable. And it was so quiet. We highly recommend.”

“Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The fresh cookies at the front desk were delicious. The included breakfast was complete with sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy and fresh fruits. We were here for a karate tournament and they had an extra room to accommodate everyone at breakfast. Would stay here again.”

“Friendly staff. At one point I was walking through the hallway on my way to my room and passed about four or five folks who clean room rooms. And every single one of them said hello to me. The front desk staff and the food staff also were very friendly. The breakfast and the 5:30 PM food both were very good. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower water pressure was excellent. Just a very good overall stay.”

“Such a welcoming and friendly front desk staff. Stayed only one night while in town for a wedding in early May. The room seemed to have some updates such as charging plugs on the sides of bed, and laminate flooring - cleaner than carpet. It was a nice stay!”

“No pool or hot tub here even when 3rd party hotel sites state otherwise and a sign in the room also states, otherwise HDMI ports on the back of the TV were loose. So couldn't really use them to connect to anything WI. Fi was extremely slow, aside from that staff was really helpful. The breakfast was decent, yeah.”

“We had problems with our room key working and had to replace it 3 times which was frustrating. The property was on the older side and in need of some TLC but for our purposes, it was just fine. Pool looked nice but we didn't have time to check it out on this trip.”

“HORRIBLE place and HORRIBLE customer service! When we arrived, the desk clerk was talking on her cell phone. She saw us and did not end her call or acknowledge us for approximately 15 minutes. We requested a handicap accessible room; however, we were assigned a 2nd floor room and there are NO elevators. We asked for any room available on the 1st floor...because I would not be able to carry my husband up and down the stairs! They claimed not to have any available and refused a refund. We booked……

“Our room was generally clean but floor corners in bathroom area could use a little more cleaning. Bed was very comfortable. Kept hearing a strange noise during the night and thought it was the ductwork making funny noises; my husband discovered the sound was actually coming from the metal pedestal beneath the bed, which made clunking noises whenever someone rolled over or got in or out of bed! Much noise came from room above due to people walking around! Overall, not a super restful night.……

“Breakfast was well diverse. Hot food, breakfast sandwich, bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, oatmeal and dry cereal. All tasted delicious. The air conditioning is run from the wall across the room from the air conditioner, just like at home. well done and cool Cannot say enough about the staff: helpful, kind, friendly. everything was well run and smooth. ”
