“We’re on holiday in Southern Ireland and this was our 6th hotel stay and by far the best, was a great pity we were only there for 1 night. Superb hotel and very nice staff especially Johnnie the barman/waiter nothing too much trouble for him. Also was served by a smashing waitress at breakfast unfortunately don’t know her name. Their food is beyond good, fantastic & all home made, you could certainly taste the difference. We would definitely stay there again. They put other hotels to shame.”

“The hotel is very old, and while well maintained and clean, not up to modern standards in a few ways. Elevator took us to the second floor but then there were two sets of stairs ( carpeted ) to navigate. Bathroom was nicely renovated but the door opened inwards making it difficult to easily enter the small space because of the placement of the sink. We could not open the window for fresh air more than a couple of inches. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, and the food was pretty good at……
