The room was spacious

AC didn’t work but didn’t complain didn’t really NEED it. Biggest problem was a drunk man knocked on my door 4 times one morning at 6am. I told him a couple times that he was at the wrong room. He then went to the front desk and got a key made to MY room and let himself in. I called the front desk and had them terminate the card. I went down to ask about it and was told he wasn’t sure what room he was in and they gave him my room number to “get him out of there hair” CRAZY. Will not be back. Stated he didn’t have an id so they took his word for it. How about ask what name is on the room or end of card number on file….SOMETHING.

We stayed here for one night while visiting Buttermilk Falls, and it was a great choice. We booked the suite and were honestly surprised by how spacious it was. It had two double beds plus a pull-out sofa bed, and it still felt roomy. The room was clean, and having a microwave and mini fridge made the stay even more convenient. We didn't arrive until after midnight, but check-in was quick and easy. Check-out the next morning was just as seamless. The only issue we encountered was with the bench in our room. While my husband was simply sitting on it to tie his shoelaces, one end suddenly gave way, causing the bench to collapse. Thankfully, he wasn't injured. We reported it to a staff member who appeared to be a housekeeping attendant (he was carrying towels) and showed him the broken bench. He didn't really react, so we're not sure if he understood us, but hopefully the issue was reported and the bench has since been repaired or replaced for future guests. Since we were only in the area for hiking, this hotel was exactly what we needed—comfortable, clean, and within an hour of Buttermilk Falls. Despite the bench incident, we'd definitely stay here again the next time we're back in the area.
