“We didn’t use the amenities as we just needed a bed for the night and quick check-in and getaway. Location was great for us, close to a relative we were picking up before heading out to Manchester airport. We enjoyed chatting in (rusty) German with the friendly lady on the front desk. Forgot her name unfortunately. Would definitely use the hotel again and will recommend to other visitors coming to the area from overseas.”

“A modern and comfortable room, but the poor breakfast service let down the overall enjoyment of the stay. The rooms are well designed and high quality, although there were issues with our lamp (flickering badly, couldn’t use it) and shower (blocked plug hole, not draining). Maintenance issues were reported to reception, but as it was the weekend, I was told there was nobody available to look into it until Monday. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rest of the room. Breakfast was disappointing.……

“I booked a single room with twin bed but upgraded to a double bed and got a better room. The room itself was quite dark, except for first thing in the morning when the sun lit up the room and the bathroom, which was nice. The bedroom had only one central light (quite dark) and one bedside light, with no lighting over by the desk where the kettle/tea/coffee were, which was a little awkward. The bathroom was very nice, light, airy and spacious.
