“Lovely & beautiful hotel, in a very quiet area even in high season in August. The highway which was pointed out by other visitors is visible, but not too loud. If they would plant a few more trees, the issue could be solved. Staff is a bit hit and miss, not comparable to other 5 star hotels. Especially the younger staff could benefit from hospitality trainings. The breakfast has such a highlight. Dinner was also great, but not too many options. “The service attitude of the reception staffs was appalling. There were ants in the room and some bed bugs on our bed. They have no electric wall sockets for boiling water. Expect their guests to boil their water next to their beds or in the toilets. Their technician had to bring us an extension cord to share with the nearby tv wall plug. Outrageous!”

“Das Hotel ist mit 5 Sternen beschrieben und bepreist und muss sich daran messen- hier erfüllt man nicht die Erwartungen. Auf der Habenseite: das Hotel ist wunderschön gelegen, in sehr gepflegter Anlage und weitab des Trubels. Leider sind kulinarischen Möglichkeiten vor Ort vorallem 5 Sterne bepreist- aber die Leistung stimmt nicht. Am ersten Abend servierte man uns ein Entrecote dass alle Garstufen in einem aufwies, von grau und sehr durch bis tief rot und very rare. Der angepriesene BBQ Abend……

It was a shame that there was a private event happening and therefore I couldn’t take yoga classes in the glass house which was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. ”

“This is a lovely hotel in the old town, because this is a pedestrian zone you do gave to carry your bags to the hotel, just a heads up if that is an issue. The rooms are small but well appointed, the staff very helpful. Would definitely book again.”

“Gran Hotel Soller styles itself as _the_ luxury property in the town, and by and large delivers. Excellent location near the main plaza but surprisingly quiet. Airy, high-ceilinged room. Some rooms have balconies, others French doors to open. Lovely views of surrounding mountains, and there is a torrent (a kind of canal) at the back of the property that is lovely to listen to. Excellent breakfast buffet and helpful staff. One of the few places in Soller with parking on site, though there is not……
