“El personal súper amable, nos recibieron aunque llegamos del aeropuerto ya entrada la madrugada. La casa muy limpia, los baños son compartidos pero puedes elegir habitación privada y todo muy bien ideal para descansar si llegas de noche y empezar el día por la mañana. La casa se encuentra en una colonia privada súper seguro. Puedes estacionar afuera. Si lo recomiendo 👍”

“Staff was very helpful. They overbooked our room at Park View so gave us an Uber ride to their sister hotel Tucan a few blocks away. Very nice people. Room was quieter at the Tucan. Great breakfast to go. Wonderful coffee!!”

“Clean, well prepped room and bathroom. Lovely garden area. Great breakfast prepared early to accommodate our early flight. Hostess was informative and very nice. The area looks a bit dodgy but don't let that discourage a stay at this affordable but pleasant, relaxing hotel.”

“Peter and his staff were so kind and welcoming, he even stayed up until 1am for our late flight. The only complaint are the beds were pretty stiff, but that’s common in CR. It’s under the flight path of the airport so you will hear the jets every now and then, it can be loud at times. Overall I was very pleased with the sincere kindness we received, that to me means a lot. Thanks!”

The location was also perfect, close to the airport but not noisy and very convenient with lots of food and shopping nearby.”

“My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay.”
