A rooftop terrace with an excellent view of the town and surrounding area was a bonus. Pack lightly. The apartment is on the third floor. There is no elevator. Giovanni was proactive in reaching out and ensuring we had everything we needed. He met us at check-in, helped us with our luggage, provided us with the necessary parking permit, then drove with us to the parking area. He……

“Clean and nicely decorated room. Slippers and toiletries provided. I did have the impression that this was an apartment with a kitchenette. No, it’s just a room. The shared kitchen is upstairs. Also you are not allowed to have food or drink in the room. So if you want a cup of tea/coffee, or food, it has to be upstairs in the kitchen. Very inconvenient. No cup of tea relaxing in your pyjamas. The room is a 10 minute walk from the station and well located in town and for Villa D’Este. A short……
