"This was the perfect little get away for our family. The property is beautiful and the owners and so kind and welcoming! The property was close to the racetrack we were there for but gave us a nice little escape when we returned. ms Lisa at the barn was so kind to my very excited 4 and 5 year old. They were able to help out with feedings and say good morning to all the horses each day. I would 100% recommend this stay for families or a couples get away. The tranquility is a matched. My husband and I enjoyed our fire and watching for fireflies after the kids went to bed. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

"Think large fishing cabin. The cabin was well stocked. Plenty of towels, shampoo, and soap. The kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. There were a few bugs but it is out in the country. The dog next door was a bit intimidating. The place could use some upgrades but overall it was a good stay."

"There were no blackout curtains in the room so the light came in all night, there was dirt and dust on the lamps, the cable tv was very grainy, the staff didn’t follow directions with how to charge my cards but the biggest complaint was someone was smoking and could be smelled in the hallway. "

"Perfect little cabin with a lovely small pond. We really enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back when the temperature is warmer so we can benefit more from the pond."

"Rooms needs to be updated(walls, bathroom). Staff was great. Access for back parking lot boaters was great but it did have a washed out area(rut). Left real early to eat breakfast so didn't have time to see how it was."

"To start with, it seemed to us like this was the first time rental for this property and nothing was ready to have customers staying in the place. Things we found that should have been taken care of prior to guest arrival:Provide bathroom toiletries other than paper and hand sanitizer. Clean the hair and dust from the tubs and sinks. Master shower completely clogged up and did not drain until I poured Liquid Draino in the drain; which helped a bit. In the kitchen you needed to remove the packaging from the inside of dishwasher and secure it so that it does not move when the door is opened. We found plastic utensils everywhere and only a few cups, glasses and plates. The house holds at least 6 guests and there were barely enough settings for three. The 3 car garage was really a one vehicle car port. Fit and finish of the place seemed less than half complete. Walls and trim were painted but very poorly done and probably needed a second coat. Paint dripping on countertop and windows. No cable. No internet. I think it was just not connected yet. Still appeared like a construction site. Outside temperatures at night were below freezing and two of three bedrooms had no heat source or very minimal at best. Only positive point was the secondary contact, Kevin was great and did help us by providing supplies that should have been at the property before we arrived. The primary contact was none responsive."
