“Goo6 location, friendly staff. No issues but the price a little steep”

“Martha and her family who help her are absoultly amazing. The rooms are exceptionally clean and beautiful and she takes care of her guests in every possible way to ensure they feel welcome.”

“Beautiful scenic views and impressive renovations. The rooms are clean, spacious, and feature adjustable climate control, fresh air circulation, and a smoke‑free environment. The added room security is a nice touch. Staff members are attentive and courteous. Breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options in a large, well‑organized space. Parking is conveniently close to the building with plenty of room between spaces. This is a second stay at Hampton Inn, Covington, Va.”

“One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed In over the last 20+ years of frequent travel. First, there is not enough parking in the motel as it appeared many guests are living there. So you have to park in the overflow across the street, not the end of the world but not ideal. Also, upon arrival, we noticed one side of the building was completely caved in from an apparent vehicle ramming and caution taped off. Again, not earth shattering, but not a great aesthetic either. The room itself was ok but……

“Recently renovated. Everything was fresh and updated. Beds were very comfortable, air conditioner rattled a bit, but had no problems keeping it cool. The pool was great, with a separate restroom directly attached. The breakfast was really good for a freebie, exceptional for a complimentary actually. If I had to come up with a complaint: The room was a little small for a double queen setup.”

“We loved our stay at The Gin. The front desk was helpful and kind when we arrived. She gave us helpful advice about the area. There were several cute shops in walking distance as well. The room was clean and had a nice size bathroom. The hotel is older and has a nice historic vibe. The balcony restaurant upstairs was a nice place to eat and get a great street view.”

“For families traveling with kids this hotel is an easy yes. It has a great outdoor pool, small play ground, BBQ and outdoor eating place, and green space far back from the road for kids to play. The hotel is clean, but not fancy by any means. The breakfast in the morning is good with cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast and bagels, yogurt and fruit. For the price, this hotel is always a stop for me and the kids when we travel.”
