"This was a great place to relax with a good view and explore the Lake Thun and Interlaken area. It was away from all the tourists and was so relaxing. The stay here also gave us free use of the basic bus system in this area which was very nice. This place was perfect for us and we’d love to come again sometime."

I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. "Chalet Milly was very comfortable and a well equipped chalet apartment. It made a great base to explore the beautiful walks in the Adelboden region and was only an hour from Grindelwald to walk the Eiger trail. The village had plenty places to eat and drink a a good sized CoOp to buy food for self catering. It was so nice that I would not hesitate to recommend it - bear in mind that Switzerland is pretty expensive though."

"The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. "You must have a phone or internet in order to check in. Very inconvenient for international travelers. There is no reception. No one physically present. Internet was an issue during the stay. On and off (mostly off) during the whole stay. Best bed ever. We had a twin and requested a change to king. It was fine immediately. The mattress topper was amazing. Excellent linen and pillows.
