“This motel was absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. We got there and had to go to another motel to check in because there was not a person there EVER! 1 room had the window wide open. About 5 other rooms were disheveled and had the lights left on. The hotel is in terrible disrepair. Our room was relatively clean but the shower didn’t work well and the window would not shut because it had a portable air conditioner hose sticking out. The air conditioner didn’t even cool the room. “The carpet was stained but the room was clean. There was an odor but not very strong. It was stronger in the hall. It is a very old hotel with a certain charm from the mining days.”

“Bad smell in building. Sofa bed uncomfortable and was chilly all night. Needed another blanket. Also coffee in room was awful, coffee pot handle broken, no snacks in common room.”

“Silverton is a great rustic town—much more chill than Durango and Ouray! This property is just one block off the Main Street, which made it easy to walk around and explore the town, without all the noise that comes from being on Main Street. The property has a lot of fun original features like the floors and pictures of the town. Showers worked great, hosts were friendly—all around a great place to stay!”
