We stayed for 4 nights. It was really hot out and the room was hot. First room, a/c didn't work. They changed us to another room. 2nd room, a/c worked first night. Then each day it stopped working. I told the front staff on 4 occasions. They reset it from their end. I had the worst sleeps in the hot room with flat uncomfortable pillows. The front staff said that they disconnect the a/c each day. It is absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend this hotel.

Nothing like turning up after a long journey and there is no one at the front desk. Then after pressing the button several times I saw a person in the back eating and I had to call out to him. Spare yourself from using the expensive vending machine and walk to Sainsbury on the corner of the street. You have to pay 8 pounds for parking. Ridiculous.

It is an old building poorly maintained. I reserved 3 rooms and stayed 2 days (large group) The cooling was very poor and concerning as children could not sleep and were very irritated with humidity and heat. Most of their customers only stay for one night as a method to transfer to Heathrow. The staff suggested we move to another hotel and that was late and very difficult. It was really bad experience. Our situation was better than our friends who stayed in the same hotel and they had flooded toillet. They did refund the booking for them and staff were happy that they considered themselves helpful. They do have relatively cheap self parking of 8.5 pound per night. The system of pay at exit is not clear and our big group wealmost missed paying for parking. The penalty for missing the payment is 100 pounds. So be careful.
