“Overall, the place was not bad. The main thing was that the building really, really needed some upkeep, meaning a lot of dry rodt everything old, the texture in the bathroom was cracking. So major renovations are needed. The location was very nice close to the freeway. Very safe and comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Overall, not bad. Would I stay there again? Maybe, just for the price.”

“Nice place. The room was clean, fresh towels, but only one wash cloth. I would stay there again, very nice.”

“This motel is very nice. Its simple and works well. You have restaurants close by across the street along with a grocery store ...starbucks close and gas station. All within walking distance. Very convenient. I stayed for 2 nights. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would plan to stay there again. The downside is that the freeway noise is loud with the big trucks in the middle of the night. But theres nothing anyone can do about that. Its on the interstate 80 corridor.……

“My husband and I stayed here for a short stay to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was also very clean and planned for a guest’s comfort in mind.”

“In general, this place was way overpriced for what it offered. We were offered a water bottle upon check in, which we got to tote with our luggage to our room. For $325 per night, might they arrange to make water bottles standard for the room? The breakfast was okay, but very staff hands-off. How about a pitcher of cream for coffee instead of thimble sized plastic "cups"? The place felt secure, but I'm still not sure what we were paying for that made this place supposedly special.”

“Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. ”

“Dirty mirror with smudged hand prints, broken closet door, peeling wallpaper, holes in the wall, no towel racks, hair in bathroom. Trash outside the door. Old ragged carpet. Awful place. Toilet so low it looked like it belonged in a kindergarten . Should be updated and remodeled. Location lovely and close to town.”
