“First of all Hamilton, Ga., is a charming small town central to some of the nicest attractions in Georgia, i.e., Providence Canyon State Park (a MUST see), Warm Springs and the Little White House, Callaway Gardens, etc. From Don's greeting at the door upon arrival to looking forward to seeing Judy and Rosemary at breakfast our week long stay at Holly House was outstanding. We love staying at B&Bs when on vacation and this was as good as it gets. The variety at breakfast was excellent and……

“Very clean. Staff was great when I needed them. Everything is being modernized. Breakfast could be better but is sufficient.”

“Breakfast ends pretty early. The room was dated and worn with some broken items. Wasn’t as clean as we’d prefer. The bed was terrible.”

“We booked 4 nights. The room was not what we booked. The room was dirty. The bathroom looked like it was never cleaned. Hair every where. The toilet didn’t flush all the way so they provided an “extra trash can” for us to fill in the bath tub to use to pour down the toilet in order to flush it all the way. Out of all the light fixtures only 1 had a light bulb. The unit that held the fridge was broken and the fridge had black mold and a foul smell. Could not open without hitting your knuckles.……

“The hotel is a former days in under renovation. A few shady characters and broken down cars were on the property and most of it appears to be remodel related. The coffee was good and the young man behind the counter was exceptional. Our first room had the ceiling falling down in the sink so we moved. Room two was much better and was clean. The breakfast is cereal with a few honey buns and coffee.”

“Check-in staff member was very accommodating. We arrived about a hour and a half early for check-in. She said our room wasn't ready but thought she could move around some things and put us in another room if that was okay with us. I had forgotten to ask for a handicap accessible room and she found one for us. We really appreciated her help and getting us in a room on arrival. ”

“Hotel staff was really friendly! The owner was really friendly and personable. His son was courteous as well. I asked for extra towels and they were accommodating! The room had some new elements. It wasn’t necessarily national chain quality but truly it was nice. It’s a budget price motel but it’s not run down or sketchy. The towels were nice and there were plenty of nice pillows which helps! You could tell that the owner takes pride in his property. We appreciate a budget motel that’s clean……

“Staff friendly, property was clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner there was urine on the side at the base of the toilet.”

“This place was good for the price. However, there was some stains on the bed and stains on one of the blankets. Good thing we had two beds, so we just slept on one of the beds with the cleaner blanket.”
