“Everything about this place was absolutely amazing! The room & view of the river was breathtaking. Everything was super clean and peaceful. My husband and I actually forgot the code to our room when coming back after a night out. It was 1am and within 10 minutes customer service was on the phone and helped us get in with no problems at all. I highly recommend staying at the skowhegan. We will definitely be returning in the future. ”

“Wonderful stay, the host has thought of everything! Linens, plush towels, excellent pillows, if you forgot something, no worries, they have everything. You can tell that these folks love to host.”

“The place was dirty. Went to the basement to check out the laundry room and found standing water because the sub pump was broken, 3 full piles of bedding in and on the washer and dryer. This led me to believe the sheets on the bed had not been washed. The stove top was dirty, dishes in the dishwasher, dirt in between the cushions of the couch. There were no towels, few electrical outlets. We stayed only one night because it was too late to find another alternative. On the plus side the owner……
