Cozy, fully remodeled water view home on quiet cul de sac

Located on cul de sac with amazing water view! Sleeps 6+, 2 bedrooms(full beds), loft (2 twins), plus blow up mattress, full bathroom with tub & bidet, washer, & dryer. Large sectional in living room with fireplace, outdoor fire pit, gas BBQ, 22 minutes to closest vineyard, 20 mins to Port Jefferson (ferry to CT & train station to NYC) with shopping & specialty restaurants, 1 hour to Hampton’s, 3 miles to coffee shop & grocery store. All about 30 mins or less: East Wind Day Spa, Tanger Outlets, Splish Splash water park, Atlantis Marine World Aquarium. Walking distance to beach access! (Walk is 3-4 blocks, moderate to rigorous hills, roughly 100 stairs down to beach level. Can drive to stairs. Beaches on north shore of LI are sandy & rocky, water shoes suggested, but not necessary). Pets upon approval. Exterior security cameras for your safety, 2 in front, 1 on north side, & 1 in back.

Great beachfront property
I very much enjoyed my stay here! It was short, because we were only in town for a wedding, but it was the perfect spot to stay. It was so nice to walk down to the beach and be so close to the water. The owner also communicated kindly and promptly when I reached out once.

Very quaint and welcoming house, extremely clean and tidy. We spent a wonderful 3 nights/4 days at the house while we attended our daughter's graduation from Stony Brook College. Beautiful view of the water, hosts easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back:-)

Wonderful beach getaway
We had a terrific stay at Cheri’s amazing gem on beautiful Sounds Beach. The property is conveniently located for quick hops to Port Jeff, Stony Brook, and Sunken Meadow. Cheri is an outstanding host and her thoughtfully appointed cottage means we felt incredibly pampered during our trip. Want easy, secure check-in? Need a snack after a long car ride? A hidden gem
The home was so clean, all updated and had everything you can think of. From the first aid kit to sugar and tums. The host Cheri was super kind and helpful. There’s a little book of stories from other families who have stayed and it was a delight to add on to the journal. The heated toilet and waterfall shower head was a perk I didn’t know I needed in my life so much. The linens smelled good and super clean. The pillows had options. A harder pillow and a softer one. I love the thoughtfulness of each thing. All of the rooms have tvs which was a plus. However the only drawback was the wifi doesn’t seem to reach the back room. We didn’t care though since we were out and about visiting family the whole time or watching tv in the living room. The fireplace is great and the online photos do not do this place justice! Would certainly come again for sure.

Great location 2 houses from beach. Little muddled on how to access the beach steps but figured it out. Overall very comfortable. Houses very close together. Unable to use fire pit because of elderly folks next door hacking away. Host was the best.

Great location, Beautiful Home
My family and I come back up to visit family on Long Island annually. This is our second year in a row staying here. My kids (14,16) love it, they spend a good amount of time by the beach and training for cross country on the hilly Sound Beach streets. We have family from Medford to Cutchogue so Sound Beach is perfect for our visit. Extremely happy finding this home. I have no doubt anyone else staying here would find it perfect as well.

Family Wedding Sta-cation
We stayed here to be close to a wedding venue for our family. The house was cute and adorable, very clean, and would go back again. I loved the peace and quiet. The beach was gorgeous. Although the journey down the steps may be challenging for some people, once you got down there it was worth the hike. I would recommend another mirror and another TV. This property is just lovely and will consider returning again.
