“Overall this day was really well. House was old and outdated. Had only one TV in the entire house where there could have been four or five TVs. There was only one and it was a small TV in the front room that was on a swivel. One electrical plug did not work and the plug for the bathtub did not work. The beds were old and stiff and springy and only full size beds. It would have been nice to have at least a queen or a king for my wife and I otherwise not a bad place. Had a full size basement....

“The property is nice. Lots of games are provided to entertain the kids and adults. Air hockey and Mortal Combat were big hits.The location is a one-minute drive from the entrance to Starved Rock and four minutes from Matthiessen State Park. The trail entrance to the St. Louis Waterfall Trail is right across the street if you want a quick hike. Or you could take that trail and hike to the St. Louis visitor's center.Everything was clean, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit....
