“we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come……

“Everything was perfect, spa facilities were lovely and relaxing and spotlessly clean. As was our apartment, the fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Food was excelent both in the evening and breakfast. We think it must be a wonderful place to work as all the staff from reception to cleaners were all very happy, chatty and helpful. “Lovely hotel, lovely room, friendly staff. Recommend to book the three course menu (changes regularly) for dinner at the hotel. I had venison ragout and rack of lamb as main and both were superb. Dinner room is a cosy place, good wine list. Dinner was preceded by some drinks at the hotel bar which, for the size of the hotel has an excellent selection of spirits at very good value-for-money prices. You select your breakfast choices in the evening from an offer ring of various fresh juices, tea……
