“Friendly staff and a really good breakfast!”

“Not my first visit to this hotel and definitely won't be my last. From the moment I walked through the front door to the moment I left my stay was made as comfortable and pleasant as possible by the welcoming, professional staff. This hotel has excellent olde world charm by the yard as you will see from exploring the corridors which lead you through the bars and lounges this hotel has to offer. “Absolutely brilliant experience. The hotel is beautiful. Staff are so friendly and welcoming they can’t do enough for you. A bit slow when ordering room service a few times we had to phone twice as nothing arrived and it took over 1 hour when it did. The food for a 5 star hotel isn’t the best and not worth the prices charged for it. Very adverage food. ”

“Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. When the dish came i was given an extra small portion of chips😁 its the little things that make a difference. Quiet at nights no……
