"Room was clean and comfy. Nice view of the lake. SPA was welcome at that point in our trip. VERY much disliked that they allow smoking in the casino. That was a huge turnoff. Otherwise the staff was pleasant and helpful. Victoria at the concierge desk was very helpful with suggestions for meals and places to go. "

"It’s clear that they are working hard to improve this hotel since it used to be The Hard Rock. The rooms still need some work but they were clean. It was an appropriate price for the outdated rooms, but I’m happy it was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was all very kind. "

"Unfortunately, I was not able to avail myself to the amenities. The room itself was standard. The bed was hard, the window allowed the wind to howl and there was a 2 inch gap under the main door keeping the room bathed in light. It was clean and the staff were exceptional. "

"Everything was well equipped and in place clean rooms, extra towels for 4 people, I think it would suit well for a family up to 6 or 7 people, or a group of 4 to 5 young friends. It's 20 min from South Lake Tahoe but far enough to be quiet on nights and enjoyable for a vacation on family."
