"This was a lovely place to stay! We came in from the Laugavegur trail and for similar money it was a nice upgrade compared the huts we had stayed in prior (though those were quite good as well). The staff was very helpful, the facilities were great, and the location was lovely. If you’re not hiking in you definitely need to take a bus here! It’s not cheap but it’s really necessary unless you’ve got a serious off-road vehicle."

Breakfast had hot and cold options. We walked to waterfall before having breakfast (available 8-10) and were the only ones at the waterfall"

I would suggest also including plain, unsweetened yoghurt, as during our stay only sweetened yoghurt was available.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"

"8/10 experience. The hotel was great. The only reason for docking the score is our room. At first it seemed like a great spot because we had a fantastic view of the waterfall. We were in room 21, so as close to it as could be which was amazing. The downside to that was, we were next to the restaurant, and staff frequently came out back for breaks and would talk on their phones and smoke. We wanted to leave our window open (the room was HOT), to let in the cool air but we couldn't because of the noise and the smoking."
