“When I came into the town of Shipshewana at 3ish I noticed that the traffic signals was not working and found out before checking in that there was no electricity in the entire town because of a storm overnight. So I went ahead and put my luggage in the room and continued on to my destination in town that had a generator running. I came back to the hotel at 8pm and found out that it still didn't have power. “Desk clerk Emily was pleasant and very helpful! Facilities are beautiful with lots of antiques and cozy nooks for private relaxing. We loved every minute there and will definitely stay there again!”

“The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The type of staff that loves what they do. We ended up in a bit of a scary situation with a tornado scare and had to evacuate the building. Staff was extremely supportive through it all.”
