“Great size room, cot provided. We were pre-warned of Christmas parties being on over the weekend and had been put further away from an potential noise, we didn't hear a thing and weren't disturbed at all.”

“The inn is beautifully located on the seafront we had a lovely room overlooking the water. Room was very comfortable and the staff were cheerful and helpful. It was also handy to be able to just walk downstairs to the cosy pub for supper. Would definitely stay here again.”

“We treated ourselves to a stay at Summer Lodge to cebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We were greeted by friendly, professional and attentive staff. Our room was spotless and included two welcoming cocktails - much appreciated. Before dinner, we went for a swim in the hotel's pool and used their jacuzzi - an excellent facility which was even more enjoyable as we had the pool to ourselves! Dinner was superb and reflected the chef's high standards. Summer Lodge is not cheap but you are paying for……

“The Bull is centrally located in Bridport with all the towns facilities within easy walking distance. The hotel itsrlf was very welcoming and the staff efficient and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed. We stayed on a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We took advantage of the guest car park which was safe and easily reached through the hotel. Would stay again if in the local area.”

Would I recommend the White Cottage B&B for those wanting to stay in a lovely village with good access to other parts of East Devon and beyond? Absolutely, yes! Not only would I recommend White Cottage B&B but I shall definitely stay there again on my next visit.
