"The staff was very friendly. Motel room has a full size refrigerator and a microwave. It’s very basic, but provided what we needed for our two night stay. "

"We had a fabulous stay! Very close to waterfalls and amazing hiking. The fall colors were just amazing. The hosts were great, the home was well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved getting cozy by the fireplace during the couple chilly nights we had. We definitely hope to return!!"

"Great place to stay! The garage would be really nice to use in the winter snowmobiling or working on anything really. It was nice to have dry wood available to have a bonfire. The house was very clean and neat with plenty of room to park a truck and trailer. Only thing you need to be aware of is that it is on the highway and you cannot legally ride a SxS the 1/8th of a mile to the trail per the county sheriff. We trailered to the co-op 1/4 mile down the road which was easy enough. Lots of people just roll the dice, but we didn't want to take any chances. Would definitely stay here again."

"The lodge was absolutely stunning, everyone loved their sleeping accommodations. We loved all the attention to detail that the lodge had from the hosts including all the kitchen utensils down to the little water cans on the bunk beds and the luxury bathrobe and linens in the master bath. The accessibility to the kayaks and canoes we also do much fun! We literally had the best weekend ever here! The hosts were absolutely incredible with communication throughout our stay. Absolutely 10/10 experience, my family will definitely be back! "

"If you need space for alot of guests, this property is ideal. Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. So peaceful.The home is a work of art. Many of the owners personal treasures you'll most likely will never see again. There's a boardroom, ice cream room, bar room, huge beautiful living room and Professional Kitchen!,besides 7 bedrooms. A focal point is The Gazebo for Wine Time! Just beautiful. Your property managers Lynne & Gary are professionals and it shows as they walk you through the property.We will return for Sled Races and already booked for 2026 Fall. Thank you "

"We've stayed here before. Cabin was clean and comfortable as always. Weather was a wild mix of cold, rainy, windy, sunny, warm, and dead calm. Pretty normal for Wisconsin in the fall. Enjoyed the quiet and caught a few fish."
