Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites

10/10 Excellent

"True this is an older facility. It is kept immaculately!!! The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean. The pool and sauna as well as steam room were a bonus. The hotel is conveniently located a five minute walk to LRT (line 5) and we were downtown in 40 minutes. The Donway shops were a 5 minute drive where shopping was excellent. The food in the restaurant was both delicious and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the sense of community in the hotel: travellers, students in residence (respectful) as well as seniors. Whenever we go to Toronto, this will be our go to hotel from now on. Can't say enough good things about our stay!!!"

"I was at this location during the huge storm that hit Toronto and it set the fire alarm off for quite a while. I understand that this is beyond the control of the staff, who communicated clearly and regularly. As for the stay, I had a free breakfast through the lobby restaurant and it was excellent and the staff were great. I appreciate that the room had a kettle and other small touches that make it much more comfortable. I've stayed at this location several times over the years and I know I'll have a great stay when I'm there."
