“The entire family enjoyed a wonderful week. We especially appreciate the rustic ADK atmosphere of the cabin. We also appreciated that the owner went out of their way to provide a missing item for the grill. We look forward to a return stay next summer.”

“We loved our stay and loved that our dog could share the experience with us. Everything was just as described. The beds were super comfortable, and the views were amazing. The host was very helpful and responsive.”

“Beautiful location on a peaceful, clear lake. We enjoyed our time here so much. It was truly relaxing and we loved swimming in the lake, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, cruising the lake in the boat. It was a wonderful vacation for our family.”

“House had everything”

“What a great place to stay for our daughter's wedding! There was room for our family to stay comfortably. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more such as snacks, games, and wood for the campfire. The farm is centrally located for the Potsdam and Canton area. We enjoyed walking the trails behind the house and playing outdoors in the large, mowed areas. But most of all, what a great place to make memories. We made buckets of them with our family. All the...

“We had a wonderful week everything was perfect!Thank you for your hospitality”

“Sometimes you stay in these places, and you can tell it’s an investment property. It isn’t really a home. It’s a house. It’s not used and loved by someone. Not this home. Everything you could need. It truly felt it was our own vacation home. The host checked in regularly. And was always speedy to address any questions that we had. The home had plenty of space and was laid out well. Our family of 5 (7yo, 13yo and 16yo), dog and 2 grandparents enjoyed the stay emensly. We made s’mores...

“We enjoyed our time on the lake at Ron and Sandy’s. They were very accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect with great swimming and on a quiet area of the lake. The camp was well stocked and comfortable. The kids are asking already to go back next summer.”

“A very cute apartment. Susan, our host was friendly, very helpful and easy to communicate with. They were kind to supply us with coffee and breakfast items and fresh eggs from their chickens!”

“Clean, comfortable and well located cabin. Would love to visit again!”

“Brenda was a wonderful host. Hidden gem can be found in Rocky Retreat. Ambling Brook and beautiful song birds were the perfect accompaniment to the Adirondack wood style accommodations.”

“This is a cozy property on a beautiful lake. My family and I loved that there were kayaks, a canoe and a rowboat to use. The pet friendly aspect was a huge draw for us as we like to travel with our dogs when we can.”

“We were there for our son’s graduation. Wonderful location, peaceful, would stay again!”

“This was a wonderful find, beautiful and very clean! Many different ways to enjoy this property inside and out, from the deck, screened-in porch and firepit, to nooks for reading, a place to do puzzles, write, or craft, separate places if you want some alone time and also a comfortable gathering space. The lower level tv room was great for my morning exercise, where I was not in any one else's way. There were just 4 of us, but well thought-out room for more. We walked the road every morning...

“Excellent location and setting with amazing sunset views. However the cottage could definitely use some upgrading and maintenance.”

“Best host ive ever worked with. Ralph was amazing to deal with great host. Property was so beautiful and very peaceful.”

“This is a beautiful property with lots to do and exceptional privacy. It was clean and comfortable. The description of the water access was deceiving. There wasn’t swimming access at the dock. It had lots of floating algae and was mucky with sick and leaf debris. A 4 person boat was provided and that was a life saver. However it was quite an adventure shutting 14 people out for a place to swim on a 4 person boat. The owner were very responsive and had interactive scavenger hunts and games.”
