“I booked this for a friend from overseas who was travelling to Northern Queensland to meet up with her son. She said the condition of the room was totally unacceptable. Apparently the proprietor offered her an alternative room which was equally grubby, so she did not stay and found another Hotel.”

“I've stayed at the Palmer Collective several times. I've enjoyed my stay every time. Thats why I keep going back.”

“The room was clean, but oh so tired. The sheer curtain was ripped, but we had the blackout curtains closed most of the time anyway. The bathroom door could do with some attention, and maybe an exhaust fan? However, considering the price, it served it's purpose, didn't affect our stay, and wouldn't stop us staying there again. ”

“We were so impressed with this little motel! The rooms were so spacious, clean and very well maintained. The pool looked very clean and inviting, the pool lights at night made the place look like as resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent place for a short stopover and great value for money!”

“I wasn't offered breakfast. Very very disappointing. The room was very clean and spacious. Inconvenient that there are no power points beside the bed, to charge phone. The pillows are way too high. Only suitable for back sleepers. There are no security screens on windows which is a deal breaker for next time. Wouldn't stay here again for that reason. Staff were ok. ”
