"Unbelievable stay. I was here for 2 nights. Every room faces the ocean. The rooms are cleans and cozy. Bathroom is great. You get what you pay for, it's no ritz carlton but it is quintessentially New England. The front office was really great. All the staff on property was very friendly. I can't wait to go back and I will definitely stay at this place again."

"The location is easy to get to. The check-in was easy and helpful. Location was quiet and safe. Breakfast had a good selection. Our room was clean. Check out was easy. We stayed 3 nights and would return."

"It’s a nice property. We were only there one night. It was a quick stop on our journey to our final destination l. Our room was very small but worked for what we needed. I would stay again but for more than one night I would get a bigger room."

"Lovely hotel, area and wonderful staff. They had a pool, hot tub and exercise room. A long sloping yard to the water with many chairs, life sized chess game and other lawn games! The only thing lacking was no breakfast."

Cozy Cabin By The Pond, Sleeps 2

"Everything was great. Place is spotless and very comfortable and extremely dog friendly. The only problem we had was traveling 7 miles to a restaurant for dinner in Knox that was supposed to be open but wasn’t. A suggestion is to always call first rather than make an assumption that it’s open even if the website says it’s open. (This is not the fault of anyone: just a heads up because there are no really close restaurants in this area)."

"Our stay in Oakland was exactly what we were looking for. Right on the water - semi secluded, but close to stores, beautiful view and dog friendly! We loved that we could bring both of our babies with no weight restrictions (they are not little). They loved hanging with us by the fire and by/in the water. Firewood is even provided. However, the shed was empty for us, but we found a man pretty close by that sold us two wheelbarrows worth for 10 so it all worked out. That’s my one tiny negative, but not enough to affect the rating. Thank you Jason!"
