“We had a lovely weeks stay in Hobogite. The place was clean, cute and comfortable. I cooked alot during our stay as digestive illness and intolerance makes eating out tricky, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had beautiful October sunshine most days, with some cold nights and mornings. We appreciated the welcome pack, the garden space, the many birds including green woodpeckers, the red squirrels, the wonderful stars, the olive tree, the lovely old stonework, the peaceful location and……

“Wat hebben we 3 weken genoten van de rust! Wakker worden met de zang van de vogels om je heen....elke dag de uil gezien die met regelmaat in de nis in de muur ging zitten. Nog nooit zo vaak een uil gezien en gehoord! Met die app die ik op advies van Lene geïnstalleerd heb, heb ik tijdens onze vakantie in de Charente 82 verschillende vogels "gevonden"!! Supermarkt 5km bij het huisje vandaan en voldoende in de buurt om te doen en ontdekken. Keuken goed uitgerust en bed comfortable. Mijn liefje……

“Vi är ett gäng på 4 familjer, totalt 16 personer, som precis avslutat en vecka i det magiskt vackra huset i Condac. Vi har trivts fantastiskt bra! Huset är perfekt för större grupper, man kan sprida ut sig på det stora området och bada i poolen, spela tennis och boule och det fanns massor av plats för barnen att leka. Det stora köket var härligt att laga mat i och det var underbart att sitta i skuggan under de stora träden och äta våra middagar. Grönsakslandet var verkligen härligt att kunna……

“Description of property very misleading. We understood that we were sharing the accommodation with possibly another person in the single section. It was in fact the owners home and we shared the facilities with her and her family. Not for us , we ate in the very small bedroom where the drawers and the wardrobe were full of the owner’s possessions, socks jumpers suitcases etc. not much space for our stuff. Th owner states that she accepts non smokers only, yet she chain-smokes all day and the……

“Arrived to be greeted by Marie who showed us around the property, very friendly. Showed how to operate the pull cover and to contact her if any problems. The owner Henri lives in another house to the rear of the barn rental. Lovely man who would clean the pool early in the morning and check with us all ok. Would definitely stay here again, short run into Ruffec for supplies at either of the two supermarkets. Thanks for a great holiday😊”

“Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires et frigo rempli à notre arrivée. Malheureusement, nous avions sélectionné ce gîte pour son jardin car nous venions avec 2 chiens. Or, il n’y en a pas. Seulement, un carré de jardin non attenant situé à 50 m du logement non clos, qui appartient à la commune et non aux propriétaires. Pas de barbecue, pas de bouilloire électrique, pas de climatisation. Le gîte n’est pas isolé et ne possède pas de double vitrage, de volets ou de rideaux occultants. Un……
