“The outside does not look good. In fact, it's a little scary when you get there. You're thinking your room is going to be horrible, but when you open the door to your room it's pretty nice. I don't like the sink being outside of the bathroom but that's apparently how it is in this area cuz it was in every room we went to on this. The breakfast absolutely sucked so we went over to dry ridge and ate at cracker barrel one morning and other mornings just ate snacks. We ended up on the second……

“We love this place. We found it many years ago. Now our go to trip hotel going North. The lady at night has a sense of humor. They opened a snack area and we tried it. Hotel has been renovated and appreciative of all the new granite, furniture and carpeting. Value for quiet night sleep on a comfortable bed”

“My complaint is with the DM Whitney and how she takes care of customer complaints and concerns. Also how the staff took care of our room and condition we came in after a long day.”

“The proximity of the hotel to the Ark Encounter is GREAT! A shuttle across the parking lot to the Encounter entrance would be an amazing addition to consider. Breakfast was delicious. A great variety to choose from for children and adults. Would suggest adding additional seating; possibly 6-10 more seats. I would recommend staying here. I will plan to stay here again on my next visit.”

“Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. ”

“We did not spend a large amount of time in the cabin, as we were there for a men's conference at the Ark Encounter. Jonathan, the host was very friendly. The cabin was well kept and clean. I plan to rent the cabin again next year. I do want to confirm that the ceiling in the loft is only about 3 to 3-1/2 ft high. My son and I slept there, and we are both over 6 ft tall. We have camped with much worse sleeping conditions. The mattresses were very comfortable. Overall, it was a great……

“The hotel elevator was not working. The vending machines were not working. The first room didn't have hot water..we moved to another room. The breakfast was fair. While at breakfast a horrid smell was present and the staff said the drainage had baked up again.. I would not recommend this hotel and will never stay there again”

“Wonderful cabin! We had everything we needed! Very clean and well maintained. It had snowed recently and host was worried about the drive and took the time to shovel it and made sure we could arrive safely. Host was super concerned for our safety and very responsive! ”
