Shops in town don’t open until late afternoon and not until Wednesday. Need to let folks know there’s more going on the next town over with Walmart and shopping. Kids would be bored.”

“I chose this place due to the fact it had a pool for my grandkids to play after sightseeing each day. Didn't realize I was getting a bonus. The owners of this property (who live onsite) had a son and daughter the exact same age as my grandchildren. The kids became fast friends. The home was adorable. Plenty of room for three of us. “We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Springer House! It has so much history and character! The beds were comfortable and the view was great. The only downside was that the road and park out front were both closed and under construction. However, we loved the atmosphere, service, and food at Casa Del Rio just down the street. “The whole house was spotless, and stocked with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen had plenty utensils, dishes and cutlery to use. The location was in a very quiet residential community and very close to shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here! The hostess was very friendly as well! Also, No smoking allowed and no pets allowed, which is a must for me!It is close to the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter!”

“Oct 26, 2026, i stayed at the Stargazer last week myself, when in the area to archery hunt. The lodging was very good. The hosts had several bottles of water, cleaning products, garbage bags. The view of the Ohio River was great. The bed is in a loft, you can not stand up, but it works. The sky lights are great to see the stars through the trees. “Had stayed there before but this time the bathrooms were filthy and so were the rooms dust everywhere and spider webs plus the chair in the tv sitting room broke while my 74 year old wife was sitting in it was a little scary at first luckily she didn’t hit her head. Plus no one told us they were doing construction in from of building so there was no way to sleep in or relax during the day”
