"We stayed here based on price and location. We were extremely pleased with this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean,quiet, and dark at night. The only minor issue ( and I hesitate to call it an issue because it really wasn't), was the paint needs refreshing in the rooms. We highly recommend Best Way Inn, and will gladly stay here again when we are in Madison!"

"Breakfast was good. No elevator. Air conditioning was good. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. They allow dogs, which is usually okay, but the two dogs across the hall from us were yipping from the time we got there just before midnight for 90 minutes or more ( I finally fell asleep)."

"The property was clean which was most important. However it is very old- historical- general upkeep is lacking chipped fury- thresholds damaged ceilings near vents dirty/ over all updates would go along way! Shower was great parking wasn’t bad steep narrow winding drive to get up to I would not attempt in the winter. Over all we would stay again as clean was most important"

"I always stay at Holiday Inn Express, my #1 choice of hotels. I only really have 2 things about the room we were in. The floor could've been cleaner, it felt a little sticky & the worst thing was the PLUG INS!!!!!! They were horrible. We couldn't even keep anything plugged in the outlets or the USB ports. Other than than, it was good."
