Nice weekend

We stayed in Grant’s room. It was neat to think that a former General and President slept on that very bed frame. The house is full of history. The room provided the nostalgia of the past with the modern day comforts of the present. The staff was amazing especially the host, Latonya Brown. She gave a great tour of the house that was very educational. She made us want to come back due to her hospitality. When you stay be sure to stick around for dinner. The pork tenderloin and catfish were fantastic! We loved the history of Vicksburg and look forward to staying here again.

Kendra is awesome!! Our stay was perfect. They were even doing a trial run for breakfast, which was yummy!! Our suite was immaculate with a beautiful view of the river. The tour of the main house was great!! Will stay again!! Oh, don't forget to tour McRaven, which they also own.

This is a gorgeous B & B to stay in. Amy the registration gal is the best. She makes you feel like your a welcome family member. Bar is quaint and bartender Cody is fun. Breakfast is small portioned but good quiche. No choice, just brought out to you. Location is great and decor is perfect for home. Had diner there and it was ok.( Filet/shrimp) The best was the bread! Try a red dragon at the bar they will get you hooked. Also Amy gives a lovey historical tour of the place after breakfast. Would definitely stay again!!!
